It would seem important that they have a say in how PD is developed, the way they take part and what it involves yet many present PD activities, even those well intended by schools and divisions misses the mark – it does not allow the teacher to personalize the learning, embed it in their practice, reflect upon their learning or share and collaborate with others to grow.
